Calling all current and aspiring Baristas! Green Joe Coffee, a new drive-thru coffee concept is looking for you to inspire and grow our community with great hospitality and delicious coffee. Our mission casts a bright outlook for the future and we need motivated team members that want to excel and gain experience to carry into your world.
To succeed as a barista, you should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and love to smile.
Barista Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
- Grinding and brewing delicious espresso based beverages to our drive-thru and walk-in customers, while embracing a positive and fun atmosphere in the shop every day.
- Preparing foods, such as bagels and avocado toast & smoothies, and serving top notch pastries from the counter.
- Selling coffee and tea blends and utilizing high end brewing equipment, highlighting the differences between items and educating customers about brewing methods.
- Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
- Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
- Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
Barista Requirements:
- Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
- Social Media savvy would be a plus, and an opportunity to help us grow!
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work around peak hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- A polite, engaging personality.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

Green Joe Coffee is a new sustainable focused drive-thru coffee shop opening its doors in early 2020. Our mission is community based and sustainability focused. We power all of our stores with 100% renewable (Wind and Solar) energy, focus on reusable, compostable and recyclable products, and also partner with One Tree Planted to help plant trees across the USA. Green Joe Coffee was created to not only set the standard for quality products, but to foster a fun and inclusive work environment while building a sustainable community and coffee supply chain. In addition to all we strive for in the community and the environment, we serve only the best organic fair-trade coffee beans. Making coffee has never felt so good knowing we are able to help our neighbors and friends while doing it.

New Drive Thru Coffee concept in search for a Shift Manager who will be a leader and consistently provide great hospitality while delivering strong results. Offering a superior customer experience is our fundamental. The successful candidate will ensure that team members are on task, workplace is clean and tidy, organized and well-stocked. We are counting on you to keep the business operating smoothly during your assigned shift. In this role, you will partner with other members of management to keep the work environment safe and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. If you are passionate about working in a fun, fast-paced environment, we look forward to hearing from you.

Shift Manager Responsibilities:
Team Lead for high paced drive-thru coffee shop.
Rockstar barista skills with passion to grow, learn and lead.
Develop and assign tasks to staff members, oversee completion of tasks.
Resolve customer issues and approve exceptions to policy for coupons, returns, etc.
Shift Manager Requirements:
A polite, engaging personality with a commitment to hospitality and a passion for coffee.
Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in coffee required 1-3 years
Ability to stand and focus for extended periods of time
Team oriented and a team leader mentality
Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service strongly preferred.
Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently based on company policies and practices
Experience with organizing and assigning shift tasks and holding staff members accountable for completion
Availability to work around peak hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
